The Gurulugomi Application was named after the renown 12th Century Literary Figure whose works continues to influence literature even today.

The Gurulugomi is cloud based online e-book store. Use this webstore to purchase your favourite books and access the Gurulugomi App Reader from any Android and iOs driven device to read. Now all our customers have access to their favorite Sri Lankan literature at the press of a button.

Permissions we request from the users and why

* "Take pictures and record video" - we have provided the facility to take a photo directly from phone camera when changing the profile picture, for that we need this permission.
* "Make and manage phone calls" - we do not make or manage phone calls for you but to get a device specific unique id this permission is a must.
* "Access photos, media and files" - we need permission to store books you read

Ratings and reviews

I would suggest to add navigational behavoiur for "Contents" and "Highlights" so that when we click a one we can read the particular section. If you can load the last read position when opening a book is very helpful. There is no option to view bookmarks after adding bookmarks, hence bookmark feature is currently useless. Finally, I'd like to have a web based application so that we can read purchased books from a web browser.

I downloaded the book "GUNASENA SUPA SHASTHRA" a few days ago. But the book is not opened and the software suddenly disappears. Re-downloaded the software several times and re-downloaded the book as per the instructions. Called the hotline number twice but till now there is no solution. They only talk about returning the money and do not get a solution to our problem. This makes us uncomfortable and we do not expect anything like this from your company.

First I have added a negative comment without reading the App description, the developer responded promptly and explained. So installed and download a free book to review the App. Seems this is a really good app and followings suggestions are for future developments. 1. Introduce, swipe left and right to navigate pages 2. Introduce a dark reading mode, the white background is difficult for eyes
