The app is poorly designed. One of the most common activities for a user is to board a ride. Yet, to board a ride, a user needs to find the "Wallet" buried in a hamburger menu, then remember to turn Bluetooth on, and assuming Bluetooth works, finally hit a board button. There are two major issues here. First, there should be a one click button to board directly from the home screen of the app. Second, consider a backup option to board if Bluetooth isn't working.

I'm unfortunately forced to use Tripshot by my employer. This app has terrible user experience and it is very difficult to basic info, because it is so overengineered with unnecessary features. For example, its home page shows a live map with every single bus stop near me, the next 10 arrivals for all lines and their respective delays. Unfortunately, that info is useless 99% of the time, I just really wanted to know when is the next shuttle for my usual line. It's pretty simple.

Great concept but poor execution. Most of the times the tripshot is late. Many times you won't get tripshots for extended periods of time. I have been waiting for 40 minutes for rides to be available, I could have just taken a bus in that time frame. The management is also usually unsupportive. The tripshot stops are fine, I won't complain about that. It connects main campus to west campus, it does the job. In general, if you care about being on time, don't take tripshot. Probably just walk.
