With U-Pay, card readers not only read magnetic stripes, but also IC card-equipped cards and some contactless payments.
Your credit card information will be loaded when you read it from the card reader.
Conforms to the "Basic concept regarding safety standards for smartphone payments" formulated by the Japan Credit Association (JCCA)
It is encrypted using the DUKPT key management method.
The encrypted credit card information is not decrypted on the smartphone side and does not remain as data, so security is safe.
