About this app

Use your Android device as a Bluetooth or WiFi serial controller

Virtual Terminal let you interact with microcontrollers or Arduino wirelessly, you can use it with other Apps or PC software that enables a connection.

This app was developed thinking in hobby and professional embedded projects, presenting a flexible user interface to control and debug your work as fast and comfortable as possible.

Instructions are available at first run and from the app menu, including a Tutorial mode.
Virtual Terminal features includes:
• Send & Receive Text as Bytes (ASCII)
• Send & Receive Integer as Byte (Binary and Hexadecimal input available)
• Send & Receive multi-byte integers as bytes (Binary and Hexadecimal input available)
• Send & Receive Float and Double numbers as Bytes
• Data reception section 'RX' with Auto Scroll
• Receive Bytes and show them as Characters and Integers at the same time with 'Dual RX'
• Receive and show constantly changing information with the 'Package reception' mode
• 'Package reception' Mode can be mixed with any reception type
• FastSend Interface enables a group configurable buttons:
- Long click to save data from TX input, simple click to send saved data
- FastSend buttons will show values and type of saved data (Text, Binary, Float, etc.)
• Xtring Interface let you create a string of different types of data, to send as a package:
- Select and write the data items you want to include in the package.
- Edit the package items at any time and define constant items.
- Send the entire package with a single button.
- Save the package as a FastSend button and use it from the principal Screen.
• Settings screen for advanced options
• WiFi mode can be used with device working as HotSpot
