About this app

Globe Trotter uses hourly AviationWeather.gov weather data, called METARs to display current weather conditions worldwide. This source is the only accepted source of weather conditions accepted the US FAA.
In addition, it has a database of timezones by coordinates and can calculate sunrise and sunset as well as civil sunrise and sunset for any set of coordinates.
While the coordinates for the stations situated at the world's airports are often coarse and inaccurate, Globe Trotter can also calculate distances and bearings between them and the device's location.
