Initially this was my favorite game of this type because you could long press on the section and see the layer beneath it. I actually paid $7.99 for no ads on it because of that since none of my other ones had it. Now that feature is gone and it's just like all the other ones. Can I have my $7.99 back because I doubt I'll be playing it much anymore.

230 levels in, so I can confidently rate this game. It's cute, fun, and the right amount of challenging. My issue is the constant barrage of ads. every few levels you might get to move on to the next puzzle with no forced ad. Otherwise, after every level there is a forced, sometimes unskippable ad. If you close the app before the ad is done, congratulations, you get to do that level again, minus any resources you used to beat it initially.

PREDATORY LEVEL design. levels are designed in such a way where from level 10 onward, you NEED to watch ads or buy micro transactions to progress. On level 12, toward the end of the level I found myself in a situation where the threads the game was asking for were not available to play, I was locked in a state where it would be impossible to finish the level if I did not watch an add or buy a micro transactions. Skill issue? maybe. Predatory design? Highly Likely.
