NOTE:
The following settings are recommended while using the app for racing:
- Set the 'Media volume' within your watch settings to full volume.
- Set the 'Show last app' setting within display settings to the maximum value so that when you lift your arm from the tiller during race start, you will get the start time straight away.
- If your phone is not going to be in a position with full GPS signal on the boat, it is recommended that bluetooth is off so that the watches bluetooth is utilised.
- Regatta Racer is not a replacement for standard navigation equipment - standard nautical navigation equipment for your vessel should be carried at all times.

USAGE GUIDE:
Can select time for start sequence from home screen between 10, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 minute options. Pursuit race options available where you can select the exact timer finishing time (in hours, minutes, seconds). Can also skip start sequence and go straight to the speed output page.

Start Sequence:
When ready press the Start Button, the timer will begin.
The screen lock will automatically be activated after 5 seconds – this will disable the back button as well as the Sync Button.
If you wish to manually toggle the lock, press the lock symbol in the top right.
To sync to the closest minute, press Sync Button.
Boat heading relative to magnetic north will be shown on the bottom left, a pointer to north is shown in the top left – NOTE: this is relative to the boats movement, not the orientation of the watch.
Display will be kept active during the entire countdown sequence for convenience regardless of watch orientation so that time remaining can be seen at a moments notice.

Speed Page:
Once the start countdown is complete, the Speed Page will automatically be displayed.
From here you will see the current time and battery percentage on the top row.
The current speed will be displayed in the centre of the screen
Like in the Start Sequence the boat heading relative to magnetic north will be shown in the bottom left and a pointer to the north will be show in the top left – NOTE: this is relative to the boats movement, not the orientation of the watch.
A counter for the time since the start of the race will be displayed in the top left.

Quick Start:
When the Race Start sequence begins, hit Quick Start and the Start Timer will immediately start at 5 minutes, this can be changed within settings.
Once started you can sync to the closest minute with the 'Sync' button.

Manual Selection:
Select the time that you would like for the countdown in mm:ss format.
Once selected this will act the same as above.

Pursuit Race:
For Pursuit Races outside of normal options you can select the start time in format of hh:mm:ss. Once selected the Start Sequence page will be displayed as above.
