wedge. takes all the hassle out of setting up and running your golf day betting, letting you all get on with the excitement of betting with your mates.
No more spreadsheets and far less admin!
So what does wedge. do?
- Quick and easy setup of the betting
- Invite friends by sharing a unique, private event code
- Place and track your bets on the outright winner
- Collect your winnings (from the event organiser) and kudos (from everyone else) when the event winner is announced
Bet against friends, not the bookies!
FEATURES:
- Create your own unlimited number of leagues / tournaments / golf days to bet on
- Invite an unlimited number of players - all events are invite only
- Players provide their handicaps to help bettors understand skill levels
- Set event start date/time
- Set a betting lock date/time so that the betting stops before the tournament starts, allowing you to focus on the banter and nerves of what might happen!
- No complicated odds - we designed it as a tote, so that everyone can have fun placing bets, whether they are advanced or beginners at betting
- A live favourites leader board shows all players who the favourites and long-shots are.
- Track all your bets with real-time changes to the projected winnings as other people place their bets.
- Winners, and winnings announced in the app by the event administrator.
*Please note that this is an app for calculating and tracking bets. There is currently no integration with a scorecard or wallet feature.

Often referred to as golf tote or pool betting app, this peer2peer social golf betting app is designed to keep things so simple that anyone can enjoy betting with others. In order for this to be as inclusive as possible, and focus on the fun side of social gaming, we stayed away from anything to do with odds.
A tote essentially works in a similar way to the lottery. Punters pick their players from the line up and put their money into a cumulative pool – everyone with a winning ticket (bet) shares a relevant percentage of the pot. If fewer people backed the eventual golf day winner, and you bet on them, then you will get a greater share of the winnings.
The beauty of golf is the ability to compete against fellow golfers of all abilities due to the handicapping system. This makes it perfect for placing bets in a tote style format as anyone can win on any given day...it's up to you to suss out who has the form and mental strength to see off the competition and bring home the bacon...for you!
wedge. is free to use and is intended for use by adults in a social gaming capacity only. We do not handle any monetary transactions. The app is simply a calculator and provides a facility to track all bets placed and work out the pay outs. It’s up to the event administrator to agree any terms with the players upfront in order to decide how to settle the outcomes of the bets outside of the app.
