App worked pretty well for automatically recording readings, except when it doesn't want to connect. Manually entering readings is easy enough when connection fails. It does email readings successfully but plan to spend A LOT of time formatting that excel file to actually print correctly. My issue is that the app says it needs an update, but every update fails. Judging from other reviews, I'm certain if I uninstall and try to reinstall, the app will be lost forever.

APP is poorly written and only useful for forwarding data to your connected device. I had an issue where the app on my android phone crashed, so I uninstalled and downloaded a fresh copy. Unfortunately, although I can download, I can't install. Several others have stated the same. There have been a lot of complaints about this app over the years. It doesn't say much about Welch Allyn as a company if they don't support the products they sell. I would suggest looking at alternative brands.

WHEN the app worked it was actually fine. But since the stupid thing can't be updated and won't collect data any more and now can't even be reinstalled or updated, it's junk. The failure in supporting of the app devalues the device it was paired with. Shame on the vendor. To advertise and sell a device with app connectivity as part of the bundle and then utterly fail to maintain it for more than a year now is shady for sure.
