When I first install the app,it works great. 2-3 days later the weather is completely wacko. Says Erie is 83°, in January. The whole week is like that. And it comes up with Costal surge alerts. Where I live the weather info is correct, but it gets tiresome unistalling and installing every few days to fix the problem. What is wrong? Also, the radar doesn't work, at all.

Thanks for letting us know. That's the first we're hearing of the issue. Can you go to the menu in the top left of the app, hit settings and submit a bug report, so our developers can fix this? Just copy/paste what you wrote here into that message. It will give them more information about what kind of device you are using and the app version.

Hi, Steve. There are two types of alerts: The WATCH LIVE alerts are meant to take you to the live stream player on the main screen of the app. The other alerts will take you directly to the story. All our content can be found on the news page, but not all the stories mentioned in a WATCH LIVE alert may be posted right away because they are so new.

It gets better. It's not perfect, but I can usually get news. What is still frustrating? When I click on a notification about a story, I expect the story to come up. Instead, I often enough get a list of stories not related to the headline. I suspect it was a live story that is over with. Wish I could reliably turn off notifications about video. I don't do video.

That's not an issue with the app. You're tapping a "Watch Live" notification, which opens the home screen with the live video player - not a specific story.
