I tried to connect the my new Belkin SoundForm Elite Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger (with Google Assistant). The speaker appeared multiple times in the devices to connect list, but would never actually connect to be able to manage and control the speaker. Luckily I have been able to connect the speaker to my Google Home account, so I can control it from there. This app has proven to be useless.

The app and device (soundform elite) are hopeless. As others noted connectivity to wifi and bluetooth is utterly hopeless and setup would never complete with either this app or google home, tried as a bluetooth only speaker, couldnt even retain pairning connection after walking away and returning, even manually reconnecting fails.

The app finds my Belkin speaker however do not manage to connect to it. The only way using my speaker is to set it up with google home! The speaker's wifi is not good. It disconnects from wifi and does not connect automatically. I have to unplugg and plug the speaker each time to get it to connect to wifi.
