Another "update" that breaks core functionality. Why? How? No search, read receipts not working, very slow message loading. No search! This is insane! I actually went to using zulip on my web app in desktop mode just to find a message. Edit - still bad after "updates". Can only search main threads, read receipts are very odd, messages aren't often marked as read. Can't easily reply to a channel, instead it defaults to "general chat". I could go on, overall a bad experience.

Hi Marc, We appreciate your feedback about what's important to have in our mobile app. Search and read receipts have both been added to the app now (along with a lot of other requested features)! Please grab the latest update from the Play store and let us know what you think. We also hope that messages are loading more quickly for you now!

This mobile app is complete trash. You can't even do something as basic as tag a channel, unless you know the exact formatting the application uses and type it perfectly. The desktop app has auto complete for tagging channels. Also there is zero way to get back to the main menu without backtracking a million times. I have to tap the back button 20 times just to get to the main menu.

Nice update, especially being now able to view the combined feed is really helpful, as is the dark mode option! Unfortunately the update also removed some features, like the ability to set the user status or go invisible, both of which i used regularly 😕. Edit: Can confirm that the status and invisible options are now available in the new app, thanks!

Hi Sebastian, we appreciate the feedback about what's important to you! Toggling invisible mode is an option on mobile now, and 'set status and status emoji' just shipped out in today's update. (All can be set in your User Profile). Feel free to grab the app update from the Play store and let us know what you think.
