About this app

The application is a mobile client to the https://www.motoquest.com web application. This is an electronic edition of the mountain bike guide and bends by Mr. Peter Fryc. The guide has been published for many years in book form. This electronic form contains many routes that have not yet been published. Routes can be selected and purchased on the server. They are then transferred to off-line use in this mobile app.

In this first edition of the application, we focus on digital formats. In the next we will add more biker-related functions and organizing rides. Current route coverage is:

A few words from Mr. Fryc:

When we started to ride a motorcycle far beyond the hum, we had to have an autoatlas about 1: 250000. We just went "somewhere." The whole preparation consisted of agreeing to go somewhere. Usually, just before the departure or even during the first day, it was decided where it would be. Improvisation. When we arrived, we were just looking for something interesting. Or where to put your head on the night. Sometimes they were nervous. Just style: "Where your eyes lead". Then came the first navigation. We have just begun to bet a bit. Still, we had to work with the map. If anything changed on the way, there was a tiny "problem".

Every time, but after returning, I painted the map where we actually went and wrote notes. From these notes began travelogues and gradually books in the ALPSKA MOTORKÁŘSKÝ PRŮVODCE edition.

But the time is asking for yours. So, all that has been described in the wizards has been transformed into a digital form. Linked to navigation, they have added a few more life-saving features that can not be put on paper and so MOTOQUEST originated. This very comprehensive information system already includes more than 300 exciting sightseeing routes and circuits. We cover virtually the entire Alps from the French Mediterranean coast to Slovenia. And there are some adjacent mountains, including Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia. In the years to come, we will continue to expand and complement MOTOQUEST.
