HQPlayer Desktop/Embedded v5 remote control app.


HQPlayer and HQPDcontrol must be located on the same LAN.
HQPlayer must have remote control enabled.
After each change the music library in HQPlayer, you need to resynchronize the library in HQPDcontrol.

Ratings and reviews

It used to be an amazing app several moons or versions ago but it has gotten progressively worse with every new version. It's hit or miss now and when it works is extremely slow and now to top it off it requires a subscription. I wish the developer would remove the connection check that in my opinion makes it slow and make it a one time purchase. I'd not mind paying for it but because of the aforementioned reasons the purchase or subscription is not justifiied, sorry.

Auto discovery of HQPlayer doesn't work!

We all paid premium for HQPlayer desktop software and now they want us to pay for control app. This app was OK but not without issues and it is not worth $13 a year. I'll be looking for another desktop software.
