About this app

This application provides a quick and easy way to estimate the Federal and Provincial taxes one would expect on their earnings and capital gains!

Given the annual expected earnings for the year, the calculator provides the total income taxes and EI/CCP/QPP deductions, and net income. It also displays a graphical representation of the income taxes, periodic earnings, tax bracket breakdown and comparison against other provinces and territories.

The calculator has an optional capital gains field, eligible dividends, ineligible dividends and RRSP contribution field. The RRSP input will be used to assess the RRSP refund that may contribute to a tax refund for the year.

This application is Free! It requires NO special Android permissions. The calculations are done locally!

App was okay until recently. Now nothing shows when opened, similar to other complaints. Please fix!! Update: Looks like blank screen issue is resolved. Thank you. No selection for 2021 or 2022 is visible in dropdown as of 2022/02/01. Update Feb 5/2022 - looks like previous issues have been resolved now. Changing # of stars again!

Great app shows yearly, weekly and bi-weekly pay when you enter the salaried amount. Very simple and easy to use! Updated: Yes, now screen is blank as others mentioned since last update. Waiting for the fix pls.

Major bug after last update. Staring at a blank screen surrounded by advertising, unable to access the calculator.
