About this app

3D++ is the app for visualizing your plans and ideas. It offers you compact functionality for the design of 3D objects:

intuitive user interface
comfortable editing features (new from version 3.3.2: graphical editor for compact shapes based on the 'sculpture types' globe and torus and new from version 4.0.0 also for simple and complex polygons)
extensive display options
Installation of complex rotation dependencies
smooth movements for small project scopes

and since version 3.0.0 also a ray tracing function, which was 'refined' in October 2025 with version 4.2.0 by a texture mapping.

You have various use opportunities:

Therefore 3D++ can be used both in terms of a game in which you determine your game success yourself or with friends, and as a serious tool for the design of construction projects. Third, 3D++ can also be used as a training app for studying spatial relationships. The possibilities this app offers for developing artistic ambitions cannot be overlooked.

In the sense of 'Open Source', the libraries of all users can be offered across all users and projects. This is at the discretion of the app developer and your project-specific consent, which cannot be withdrawn once granted for a specific project.

From version 2.0.0 you also can save your projects and project data locally on your devices. As a result, the main importance of the cloud from 2.0.0 onwards is on cross-user and cross-device project processing and no longer on basic project backup. From 2.0.0 backup duplicates can be stored locally on your devices and/or in the cloud.

Starting with version 4.0.1, complex polygons and their intermediate states can be saved locally.

3D++ adapts to all display formats (smart phone, tablet, Android smart TV or smart TV via Android TV box). So you can create a project on your smart phone and watch it with friends on TV.

3D++ registers the manufacturer and the model of your device for development purposes, if you agree.

3D++ requires your consent to use your Google Account ID, if you want to save projects in the cloud. Starting with version 3.7.6, a Google account ID can be completely removed from the 3D++ cloud.

To use Texture mapping in Ray tracing, 3D++ needs your permission to access the images stored on your device.
