buffalo clever is the mobile platform in the DB learning apprentice for the professional group EIB. (Railway in operational service)
Access is via the learning management system.
The app helps the trainees learning content quickly and easily to train the memory and anchoring it there long term.
This is done using a structured resubmission system. Learners are depending on Objective 3 special learning modes are available.
The Power mode is particularly suitable for short-term exam preparation, the long-term memory mode is based on the forgetting curve of people and provides for the sustainable development of knowledge. The examination procedure itself as a final learning success. Detailed statistics on the current learning status and a reminder via push notification provide guidance and motivation.
What makes the learning content is that you have been created within a web of internal project trainees. They include questions and answers in the form of digital flashcards and multiple choice questions on relevant topics such as
Signal groups, track layout (control mode), mechanics (control operation), passing the driving signals or service route block. Since the German track how many large companies have developed their own jargon that app besides official abbreviations also contains a large number of informal abbreviations which are now firmly anchored in the jargon of the employees.
