About this app

The CFL mobile app is your assistant for travel planning using public means of transport in Luxembourg and beyond. Thanks to the user-friendly and simple handling, you can quickly reach your destination: simply enter the start and destination, select the desired journey period and your planning is already done. Alternative routes and means of transport are only a finger swipe away. Europe-wide timetable information and real-time information always help choosing the travel connection that fits you best. Thanks to the integration of a multitude of points of interest and Luxembourgish addresses, the application allows you to travel door to door in Luxembourg.

Need a ticket? Tickets for national transport and some cross-border connections can be purchased directly in the app.

Thanks to customizable push notifications, receive only the information you need, whether it is for a specific train or for a certain predetermined period of time.

The app crashed this morning when I tried to open my ticket saying: "Error java . lang . IllegalArgumentException : Invalid base64 for image with key logo" Then I reinstalled the app twice and got the same error. Other two colleagues have Android and got the same error, another colleague has an iPhone and the app works perfectly for him.

Thank you for your message. We have already reported the problem with the CFL Mobile App to our provider for immediate resolution. To this end, the train and bus staff have been instructed to check the validity of the ticket carefully, as the usual QR code is unfortunately temporarily not recognised. After last update (5.4.6 (62)) I cannot see my tickets on Xiaomi phones (I tried on couple of them - note 7, 10 pro, 12 pro). It gives some java error every time you try to open your ticket for which you paid money. The compatibility is very poor. Why you don't you send tickets via email after you buy them, if the compatibility with different phones is so poor on this app?

Festival happened - was the app updated to reflect updated bus routes? No, it wasn't. We had to wait an extra 1.5 hours because the app told us to be somewhere at a specific time where the bus never arrived. Be better.
