You can now contact us directly via the chat function. News, dates, radio campaigns. With the MDR Sachsen app you always know what's happening in Saxony. In the live stream or conveniently to read.

• Radio: We deliver Sachsenradio live streams directly to your smartphone every day. Choose between the regions of Dresden, Bautzen, Chemnitz, Leipzig and Plauen, or be inspired by our hit world. Of course including a title list.

• Player: Here you will find the most important topics and podcasts for Saxony and highlights from our programs. Would you like to share the post with family, friends and acquaintances? A few clicks are enough for this

• MDR Sachsen News: Here we provide you with the latest news from Saxony. We offer articles from the fields of politics, economy, society, culture and sport, along with pictures, videos and audios. So you are fully informed.

• Regions: We offer separate current news for the regions of Bautzen, Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig. In this way we make it easier for you to search for information from your home country.

• Push notifications: Would you like to be informed about the latest news around the clock? Then our push messages will help, bringing you the most important news as breaking news directly to your smartphone.

• Traffic: In our MDR Sachsen App you can follow live what's going on on the roads in Saxony - on a map or sorted in a list. If you give us access to your location, we can also tailor traffic reports to you. Would you like to report a traffic jam or speed camera yourself? Then write to us directly via the chat in our MDR Sachsen app.

• Weather: Enter your place of residence and we will provide you with a detailed description of the current weather based on your location. You will get the outlook for the next few days right away.

Ja nachrichten aus der region sind prima. Bissl mehr uebersicht wuerde ich mir schon wuenschen wie zb was sind gerade corona regeln? Auch notifications muessen noch tatsaechlich sagen was sie sagen sollen und mir nicht tage lang von zb jugendlichen und pornosucht was sagen...

Das Informationsangebot der öffentlich-rechtlichen ist sehr gut. Die Aufarbeitung der Themen erfolgt übersichtlich. Leider ist es sehr schwierig, Artikel in andere Apps, als in WhatsApp oder Facebook, zu teilen. Dadurch ist es umständlich, Kontakten in anderen Messengern, wie z.B. Telegram, Artikel des MDR zu schicken.

Mehrere kleine Fehlerbehebungen und Optimierungen, unter anderem: 
-Nachrichten und Artikel werden nun in allen Fällen nach spätestens 30 Minuten automatisch aktualisiert.
