About this app

The Tierpark Bochum app makes a visit to the zoo an eventful experience for everyone, with and without disabilities, regardless of age, gender, social or ethnic background. It allows you to experience the world of animals with all available senses. With animals in augmented reality, guided tours, quiz questions and much more, the visitor playfully discovers the zoo and its diverse residents. Animal information is provided at the right time in the right place. All content is tailored to the individual needs of the various visitor groups and invites you to discover them, e.g. in the form of videos, audio guides, picture galleries or profiles.

In addition, there are various interactive adventure stations in the zoo, which, in combination with the content of the app, enrich the real world of the zoo with digital possibilities.

The map within the app enables easy orientation in the zoo and offers information about upcoming feedings, among other things.
