I figured out how to play the movies directly from this app! Edit the movie, scroll down to location, click on the search icon. It'll bring you to a list of videos stored in your phone but you can't pick the movie from there, that doesn't work. Click the three dots and choose browse. Then click the three lines in the upper left and choose your file explorer app. Then you can use the file explorer app to pick your movie! It actually works, puts a play button on the background image in this app!

Edit...What's wrong with you people, it's great! I've seen more expensive apps like this out there and decided after trying this one to buy it. I like the tile view the best and also adding movies is really simple. You don't need to scan your movie, just add, type in the title and search. Easy. The only thing I noticed, was when uploading the file to google drive, there is no option to grab the file from drive when restoring. This would be a nice feature to add.

Great app, I have been using it for about a year and like it. I have some suggestions for improvement: - Multi-selection of files vs click 1-by-1, - "search filter" by year/decade, country, age rating, location, director. Also very useful would be a feature to add movies through "IMDb ID" vs just "Title" or "Scan Code" because especially a multitude of international movies aren't found and the only way to add them is manually by "New" while they are in IMDB. Windows PC apps have this feature.
