About this app

You can use the Midttrafik app to purchase single trip tickets, multiride tickets, transit tickets and youth cards for Midttrafik buses, Letbanen and the Lemvigbanen.

Single trip tickets and multiride tickets purchased on the app cannot be used on Arriva or DSB trains.

Transit tickets and youth cards purchased on the app can be used for Midttrafik's buses, Letbanen, Lemvigbanen as well as Arriva's and DSB's trains.

You can purchase:

Multiride tickets
Single trip tickets
Transit tickets
Youth cards
Special tickets (for example, tickets to Djurs Sommerland)

You need to create an account and decide how to pay before you can use the Midtttrafik app.

You can pay using MobilePay or connect a payment card (Dankort, Visa, Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express) to your account.

If your phone’s language settings are set to English, the Midttrafik app will use an English user interface. You can alsp switch the language in the settings menu.

Remember:

• Purchase your mobile ticket before you start your journey and before boarding.
• Make sure you have an internet connection to purchase your ticket, although you don’t need an internet connection to show your ticket.
• Make sure your phone has enough power for the whole journey so that you can present your ticket at the ticket control.
• Your phone must be intact so that the ticket is readable on the screen at the ticket control.
• Single trip tickets and multiride tickets purchased on the Midttrafik app are only valid within the Midttrafik region for journeys on Midttrafik buses or the Lemvigbanen.
• Single trip tickets and multiride tickets purchased on the Midttrafik app are not valid for journeys on Arriva or DSB trains.
• Transit tickets and youth cards purchased on the app can be used for Midttrafik's buses, Letbanen, Lemvigbanen as well as Arriva's and DSB's trains.

You took away special tickets and put them on rejsebillet which my phone literally can't download because it's very old and now I have to pay so much more to go on busses for the day and I'm already really poor and I was depending on midtraffik for my bus, I'm so tired of being updated out of being able to use anything, essential services need to be accessable on all devices not just fancy new phones

As many others, I'm greeted with a blank screen after entering the credit card details. After having spent half an hour trying to make payment work (including re-downloading the app, changing default browser etc) I gave up. (The app was the only place to buy the ticket, as at the bus station you are instructed to go to the train station, and at the train station you are told to go to the bus station). I guess the only option left is to take taxis?

Revised review—from 2 to 1 stars. Can't buy a transit ticket—the app just hangs forever before I get to the zone selection—so I'm paying through the nose for single tickets twice a day and I'll be more than a little surprised (but pleasantly so) if Midttrafik will refund the difference. It also hangs after buying a single trip ticket when it would normally display the ticket, but restarting the app makes the ticket appear... And still no notification when your pass is about to expire...

What’s new

The new Midttrafik app has been simplified. So simple, in fact, that only single tickets remain. Oh, and the clips you haven’t used over time. Remember to use your clips before March 31, 2026 :-)
