This one-of-a-kind app can detect precisely the deviation of the dry-fired shots from the center of the target (the bullseye). When users aim their firearms at the center of the target, the Bullz-I algorithms calculate how off-center the dry-fired shots hit the target.

Always double-check that your firearm is unloaded before dry fire practice begins! Bullz-i makes it fun and safe to dry fire your unloaded gun to improve your shooting accuracy and practice proper grip, stance, and sight alignment. Bullz-i provides instant feedback by realistically displaying the precise location of your shots on a smartphone screen, assuming you are aiming at the center of the target.

Bullz-I PRO includes a digital ‘Target Retrieval System’ that allows for controlled positioning of each target's distance. With easy-to-use controls, our Target Retrieval System places your target at 3 preset distances of approximately 20, 35, and 50 feet.

Bullz-i PRO helps you diagnose and improve your pistol shooting skills by analyzing your shooting results. It identifies bad habits like trigger jerking, heeling, thumbing, and more, and provides expert advice on how to mitigate them. How it works

The Bullz-i app incorporates a unique technology based on three algorithms: image recognition with deep neural networks, an audio peak detection algorithm, and a proprietary algorithm, able to calculate how off-center the dry-fired shots hit the target. All you need to run your Dry Fire practice session on your smartphone is to follow these simple steps:
1. Download and install the Bullz-i App on your smartphone;
2. Run the Bullz-i App;
3. Set your smartphone vertically by placing it against any supporting surface, with the smartphone’s camera pointing at you and with the digital shooting Target displayed;
4. Aim your unloaded firearm at the bullseye (the center of the target). The Bullz-i algorithms monitor a digital target for “hits” from an unloaded handgun, calculate how off-center the bullets would hit the target, and map the hits onto the digital target.

What is Dry Fire?

Dry firing is a great way to practice shooting skills. Dry firing is the practice of simulating the discharge of a firearm without any live ammunition. Members of the Armed Forces, police departments, and competitive shooters all use dry fire training to become better at hitting their targets. Dry Fire Training helps you to improve your shooting skills and accuracy. You can practice proper grip, trigger control, sight alignment, and breathing techniques. It can also help you to overcome any bad habits you may have developed, such as the anticipation of recoil.

NOTE 1: Dry fire poses no risk of damage to most modern centerfire firearms; however, it can damage rimfire weapons, where the firing pin in most designs will impact the breech face if the weapon is dry-fired. Because of this, precautions (such as the use of snap caps) need to be taken if such a weapon is to be deliberately dry-fired.

NOTE 2: PLEASE BE SAFE!!! The dry fire should be done with NO AMMUNITION in or near the gun.

Ratings and reviews

App does not give the target like shown in the ad video, complete waste of time. Further edit after company's response, 10 seconds??? Try nearly 2 and a half minutes and target never appeared yet counted off dry fires without a target. Definitely don't download the free version, and generally if free app don't work what would leave anyone to believe the paid version would???? And before they try saying my phone is outdated it was just bought brand new from retailer less than 4 months ago

Rarely leave a review but was thoroughly impressed. The three shooting sessions daily limit is too short but still got a taste of the app and liked it. Have also noticed how the app has improved over time, and plan to purchase the Pro version to have unlimited access to it.

With proper lighting and standing 3 feet from the app , it works like a charm. I am sure how the algorithm works, but when I am purposely off target, it shows. When I am on, they register exactly where I am aiming . Not a bad little app.
