About this app

A Polish application for quickly learning words and phrases from foreign languages, created especially for Poles. It offers learning English, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Latin, Ukrainian, Swedish and Norwegian.

The application allows you to use all the materials available on the Slownictwo.pl website (it is one of the first websites in Poland that started offering online vocabulary learning - it has been operating since 2005!)

With the help of 6 simple techniques, you will learn even the most difficult English words and expressions in a pleasant way. This method works even for people who are most "resistant to English" ;)

You can complete lessons in the following learning modes:
- Typing with the keyboard
- I know/I don't know response mode
- Choice test (word association)
- Matching by ear
- Dictation (writing by ear)
- Pronunciation trainer (speech correctness index test)
- Sentence puzzle

Translation can be performed in both directions:

After activating the full version for English, you get access to:
- 13 levels of basic course - vocabulary

- Over 60 thousand sets of other users, which you can find thanks to the built-in thematic search engine
- 1272 voiced lessons with thematic phrasebooks containing the most useful phrases

The application is sometimes merciless in its grading, but thanks to this you will master English spelling and significantly improve the effectiveness of understanding the English message.

Thanks to the built-in "Listen & Repeat" function, you can listen to the narrator's MP3 recordings non-stop (e.g. in the car, on the way to work) and improve your pronunciation and accent, gradually switching off the words and phrases you have mastered to perfection.

You can freely configure this function according to your needs by changing the following in the settings:
- number of repetitions of a given word
- repetition rate
- displaying English expressions,
- displaying Polish translation
- displaying phonetic transcription
- cyclic playback
- random playback

The added Polish pronunciation of words also allows for "visual" learning in all conditions.

The application allows you to switch to learning other languages.

Full access to the lessons from the course along with the teacher's recordings in the PRO version is available as part of the subscription to the Slownictwo.pl website. After logging in to the current version, you get access to dozens of free lessons of various levels of advancement.

Once downloaded, lessons and teacher recordings are stored in the phone's memory, so an Internet connection is not required to restart them, which will allow you to log in and learn offline.

The application also allows you to participate in the Memo-Games memory competition.
