PARKALERT: A WELCOME ADDITITION TO EXISTING PARKING APPS
Drivers regularly forget to switch off parking mode in their Parking Apps on returning to their vehicle. The result is that the parking charges paid for, exceed what should actually have been paid.
Drivers also occasionally forget to activate their Parking App on leaving their vehicles. Regularly, a driver realizes when driving that he has forgotten to switch off his Parking App. Often, his first reaction is to seize for the smartphone to try and switch off the Parking App while driving. This is dangerous and can obviously lead to accidents. ParkAlert is not a Parking App but is a highly desirable addition there to which solves these problems at a modest cost.

HOW DOES PARKALERT WORK?
The ParkAlert system consists of a small sensor and an App. The sensor is slightly larger than a € 2 coin and can be simply attached to or left in the vehicle. The Parkalert sensor is connected to a smartphone by ‘Bluetooth’ connection activated by the ParkAlert App. Based on entering the vehicle or leaving the vehicle, ParkAlert will send a push message to the linked smartphone, reminding the user to either switch on or off the parking app.
