Those who have visited the Kitay-Gorod restaurant at least once can hardly refrain from looking there again. Everyone who finds himself in "Little China" finds himself in a place with an extraordinary atmosphere, filled with comfort and peace.
The restaurant's interior is unexpectedly simple and not at all mysterious. In the center of the main hall there is a mirrored wall with 3 hieroglyphs - the name of the restaurant written in Chinese. One of the walls is decorated with a huge painting. This is a copy of a painting by a famous Chinese artist who lived 1000 years ago, during the Sunn dynasty. It depicts the metropolitan life of the Sung empires. The place that most of all reminds of China in our interior is the pagoda-style bar counter.
Our restaurant consists of three rooms: the main one and two banquet rooms. The main hall can accommodate up to 70 people. One of the banquet halls is designed for 30 seats and is equipped with karaoke. The second is smaller, around the glass table there is enough space for 12 guests. Each of these three rooms is equipped with a music center.
Chef Liu Jinlu has been working in our restaurant for over 5 years. He hails from the southern region of China, which is famous for its culinary traditions. Thanks to his excellent education and 8 years of experience, he can fulfill any order, even if such a dish is not on the menu. Of course, he does not work alone, he is helped by young, but very talented Chinese chefs.
Do not think that Chinese cuisine is all about spicy and sour dishes. It's not like that at all. In our restaurant everyone can find something to their liking. We offer a very varied menu, from rice noodles to Peking duck. We serve any dish following the Chinese tradition, i.e. not divided into portions, but general, on one large plate. We also have a very wide selection of alcoholic drinks and of course Chinese wines.
