How To Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Using a regular set of Rosary beads, you begin at the cross by doing the sign of the cross. (Optional Opening Prayer) You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. (Repeat three times) O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

On the three beads of the rosary pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Apostles Creed.

You begin each decade with the Our Father beads by praying this prayer: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

Complete the decade on the 10 Hail Mary beads by praying this prayer: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for each decade on the rosary beads

Once you have prayed all 5 decades, you finish the Chaplet by praying the following prayer 3 times: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (Optional Closing Prayer) Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

I thought when listening to the speakers that they read much too fast, as if they were in a hurry to get this beautiful prayer over with. I really need to have it read at a slower pace to attempt to really process what each word means. Praying at a faster pace, for me, defeats the purpose of prayer. It feels deceitful and not respectful. We must remember that God himself spoke and taught us this prayer. Each word is so very special and should be read reverently and not rushed as so many are.

I love this app, the audio is good and it's pace is nice. God bless you. Pls could you include the DIVINE MERCY PRAYER pls pls that prayer is wonderful and I love praying it and include NOVEVA prayers too. Would be great to add A setting for reminder (alarm). With the option of ticking days to set the alarm if possible. With that I did could come back and give a 5star cos thats what the app deserves. Thank you.

The background so-called, music spoils what would otherwise be one of the better apps available for the Chaplet. It gets too boisy at times and is distracting. There is an abundance of sacred and other music available that would complement the recitation.
