The Hellenic Score II fatal CVD risk calculation uses an equation algorithm, based on established atherosclerosis risk factors (gender, age, smoking, SBP, total cholesterol) and estimates the 10-year risk of fatal CVD in patients aged 40-79 years, without pre-existing heart disease; Based on the results of the computer models, patients are categorized into groups and their treatment is individualized.
