About this app

This is the companion app to TC-Helicon's Perform-V, a mic-stand mounted vocal processor that opens up a whole new world of performance opportunities for singers.

The Perform-V Companion app offers 1000+ preset sounds which can be instantly transferred when connected with a usb cable or can be "beamed" over-the-air from your Android device to the Perform-V with nothing but your phone or tablets's external speaker.

Simply select a preset, hold your phone or tablet next to Perform-V's room-sense microphone, then press "Beam". The preset takes about 4 seconds to transfer via an audio signal which sounds like a Fax machine or an old computer modem to the human ear.

Ratings and reviews

After the update, it crashes. Used to work great. Now, when I select a song setting and plug in the USB cable, the app closes. I cleared the cache like my Samsun s21 ultra suggested, but it still crashes. Haven't tried the audio beam because the sound is too annoying. Please fix. I guess it's good you fixed for Android 5.1, but what about a 3 year old phone running Android 13 that used to work. Please focus your attention on newer song settings.

What Happened?!?! This app has worked great when I use a USB to C cable to instantly beam... Until the recent firmware update it seems. Now whenever I plug in the Perform V, the app opens then immediately crashes. I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and another phone. Same issue every time. Please help and fix this soon.

Beaming spotty- List looks cool, categories are decent, will not beam from my Android LG G8 but beams fine on my kid's Samsung A52. App not updated since 2017- indication of continued support?? Connecting my to my computer via USB cable yields better results. But wait! In the audio settings of my phone I created a custom EQ setting to bring up the center (lower bass and treble) and now it beams from my phone. Fixed!
