In order to provide public information services as mandated in Law no. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure and Presidential Regulation No. 78 of 2021 concerning the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), BRIN established the PPID organizational structure as follows:

1. PPID's superior is held by the Main Secretary of BRIN;
2. PPID is held by the Head of the Public, General and Secretarial Communication Bureau;
3. PPID Manager:
- Secretary/ Management Representation
- Information Desk Officer
- Legal Service Officer
- Documentation Officer
- PPID and ICT Portal Officer
- Social Media Public Communication
- Technology Service Officer

PPID and PPID BRIN Equipment are responsible for storing, documenting, providing, and/or providing public information services within the National Research and Innovation Agency.
