A significant number of people are not able or allowed to use traditional payment options. Especially in care taking, for example elderly people, intellectually disabled people, corrective services or people with dementia, a process for payment can be quite complex.

To pay with a different account, handle receipts, charge back and ensure rights is taking time and resources. Furthermore there is the risk of miss-use or theft when physical money is handled.
