Dots and Boxes or Dots and Lines is a classic pen and paper game.

Starting with an empty grid of dots, players take turns, adding a single horizontal or vertical line between two unjoined adjacent dots.
A player who completes the fourth side of a 1×1 box earns one point and takes another turn. The game ends when no more lines can be placed. The winner of the game is the player with the most points.

It was first published in the 19th century by Édouard Lucas, who called it la pipopipette.

Ratings and reviews

Very laggy, in my first game I was completing a run of boxes slowly, because it's so laggy and it still managed not to register one of my lines, but did register the next one, meaning the game was able to complete the rest of the boxes. I've no idea how such a simple game can be so slow to respond.

I love that this isn't a game where you have a "live" opponent because my ADD brain likes to play it while I am watching TV or something ... love this game since I was a kid suggestions: 1: make the player icon changeable 2: allow use to choose colors for lines/boxes

Vibrates too much cz I'm not able to draw my line properly.. Can you think of a better way to ease the line marking.. I know this is common way... But sometimes it looks tough.. I mark a wrong place... Otherwise.. This is an amazingggg game!! Thank yu
