About this game

Scopa Fantogame – The classic Italian card game, wherever you are

Scopa Fantogame brings one of Italy's most beloved card games directly to your device. Challenge the computer or face other players online in exciting Scopa matches, enjoying an experience faithful to the traditional rules, with the addition of global leaderboards and the option to create a friends list.

Game Modes
Against the PC: Ideal for practicing, honing your strategy, and learning the rules if you're a beginner.

Online Multiplayer: Challenge real opponents from around the world, climb the leaderboards, and prove you're a Scopa master. You can also add friends to play again whenever you like.

Basic Rules
The game uses a deck of 40 Italian cards divided into four suits:

Cups

Coins

Swords

Batons

Each suit has ten cards, with values from 1 (Ace) to 7 and three face cards: Jack, Knight, and King.

At the beginning of each hand, three cards are dealt to each player and four cards are placed face up on the table.

In turn, each player:

Plays a card from their hand.

Attempts to take one or more cards from the table whose value, when added together, exactly matches the value of the card played.

Example: If you play a 5, you can take a 5 from the table, or, for example, a 3 and a 2.

If you take all the cards on the table with one play, you score a Scopa and get 1 extra point. In this case, one of the captured cards is placed sideways in the deck to mark the Scopa.

When the hand runs out of cards, the dealer deals three more cards to each player until the deck is exhausted.

At the end of the hand, points are tallied.

End-of-Hand Scoring System
Points are awarded according to the traditional Scopa rules:

Cards: 1 point for the player who has captured the most cards in total.

Denari: 1 point for the player who has captured the most cards of the "Denari" suit.

Settebello: 1 point for the player who has captured the 7 of Denari.

Primiera: 1 point for the player with the best combination of cards, one per suit, calculated based on the primiera score (7 is worth 21, 6 is worth 18, Ace is worth 16, 5 is worth 15, etc.).

Scope: 1 point for each Scopa card made during the hand.

Object of the Game
The game ends when a player reaches 11 points or more. In the event of a tie, an additional hand is played to determine the winner.

Strategy and Tips
To become a Scopa Fantogame champion, knowing the rules isn't enough: you need strategy.

Memory the cards already played to predict the remaining ones.

Don't give easy Scopas: if you can, avoid leaving cards on the table that allow your opponent to take them all.

Aim for the Primiera: holding 7s and 6s in various suits increases your chances of winning this point.

Control your Coins: Be sure to capture the Settebello and other Coin cards to earn extra points.
