The HORTUSILA App, developed within the EAFRD-PSR CALABRIA 2014-2020 - MEASURE 6: Development of farms and businesses - Intervention 6.2.1: Start-up aid for new non-agricultural activities in rural areas - was created from the entrepreneurial idea of ​​Biagio Lecce, a young entrepreneur, son of art, a graduate expert in the creation of dishes and drinks based on aromatic, medicinal and spice plants, as well as in the creation of menus9 and vegetarian and vegan drinks, and for subjects intolerant to lactose and gluten.
The App was born to support the entrepreneurial activity, started also thanks to the experience of Biagio Lecce, aims to provide the market with a series of integrated services for the design, implementation and management of educational courses of taste and food education. smell that involve the use of autochthonous species of the Calabrian spontaneous flora. This path is carried out through the sensory-olfactory analysis and possibly the tasting of the plants present or leaves, flowers, fruits, tubers and roots, in the most suitable and healthy way for young children and their families.
Through the App it is therefore possible to have information on the various paths and integrate them through descriptive cards of the plants installed in the paths also created with voice support and NFC technologies to guarantee accessibility for people with disabilities
