I tried to register and got the message "we're experiencing high demand A large volume of signups has overwhelmed our servers - but we're working on it! You're on the list and we'll get you in ASAP." 2025 cloud servers everywhere this is so lame. How should you trust the safety of a app to keep your date if they can't even process the registration.

looks great, but the only option to sign up is via Google. based on their surveillance, data collection and more, I and many others want to move away from Google so, having it as the only option to create an account.... a shame indeed. It does appear you used to accept phone numbers but was removed and only Google accounts are now available..

the app used to work fine. Now when I open it, I get left in a full-screen state that wants me to enable location services. I'm not going to do that. So the app is broke. I also see that other reviews mention only Google Auth is allowed. I don't have a Google account (or apple account) for privacy and security reasons. So the app locks a lot of people out of using it.
