What is RFID BOX?
=================
This app is a dedicated app for our UHF RFID reader/writers, allowing you to easily add RFID functionality to your smartphone or tablet.
It includes basic settings for the paired RFID reader, such as signal strength and buzzer volume, as well as IC tag reading, writing, and search functions. Its intuitive design makes it easy to use, even for first-time users. You can adjust the signal strength to change the reading distance, and use the search function to find hidden IC tags.

How to Use RFID BOX
=================
Here's a quick guide to using this app.
To set up your RFID reader (hereafter referred to as "reader"), refer to the instructions in the app.
◎First Steps - Connecting the Reader to Your Device
----------------------------------------
① Select Your Device
1) Enable Bluetooth on your device and launch the app.
2) In the "Model Selection" tab, scroll to select the model you want to use.
3) Go to the settings screen for the selected model.
4) Connect your reader to your device by following the instructions in the next section ②.
*Available settings vary depending on the reader; unsupported settings are grayed out.
② Connect Your Reader
1) Turn on your reader and tap "Find Reader" in the "Settings" tab of the app.
2) Readers matching the model selected in step 1 will be detected as candidates.
3) Select the reader displayed in the "Detected Readers" area and tap "Connect."
4) The connection is complete when the app screen displays "Connected."
◇Auto-Connection Settings
Check "Auto-connect to this reader next time" at the bottom of a connected reader to recognize it as the reader of choice in the app and automatically connect the next time you start it.
●Reading IC Tags - There are two methods
----------------------------------------
1) Tap "Read: List" in the app tab.
2) Press the beam button on the reader or tap "Start" at the bottom of the app.
3) Information about the read IC tag will be displayed.
4) Release the beam button or tap "Stop" at the bottom of the app to stop reading IC tags.
*For the SR7, press the beam button once to read, and press it again to stop.
◎Check the number of tags read, elapsed time, IC tag information, received signal strength, and more in a list.
◎In addition to sorting IC tags, you can switch display modes such as a count-up display (showing tags in the order they were read) or a count-down display (erasing scanned masters).
1) Tap "Read: Count" in the app tab.
2) Press the beam button on the reader or tap "Start" at the bottom of the app.
3) Release the beam button or tap "Stop" in the app to stop reading IC tags.
*For the SR7, press the beam button once to read, then press it again to stop.
◎When you read tags, the number of IC tags read is counted. You can set a timer to measure the reading speed and number of tags read. You can also switch between displaying "actual number" and "total number" by changing the "Display Mode" in the lower left.
●Writing Data to IC Tags
----------------------------------------
Tap "Write Encode" in the app tab. You can manually assign numbers to data, or use the automatic numbering feature.
1) Number the data you want to write by entering it using the keyboard or scanning a barcode.
2) Select the numbering method.
・Individual Input: This method assigns numbers manually to each IC tag.
・Automatic (16-bit/Decimal): This method automatically assigns consecutive numbers based on the initial number assigned.
2) Hold the IC tag close to the reader's antenna.
3) Tap "Start" to write.
4) When the encoding status progresses to "Complete," writing is complete.
*Please note that increasing the signal strength may result in writing to other IC tags nearby.
●Searching for IC Tags
----------------------------------------
You can search for specific IC tags.
1) Tap "Search Single" in the Apps tab.
2) Enter the code of the IC tag you want to find using either "Enter by Keyboard," "Read by Reader," or "Select from Master."
3) Press the illumination button on the reader or tap "Start" to begin searching.
4) As you approach the target IC tag, the received signal strength will increase, and you can identify the IC tag by moving towards the stronger signal. The signal strength is displayed in real time, allowing for intuitive searching.
◎ By tapping "Display Mode" in the lower left, you can choose between two display modes: "Bar" or "Circle."
◎ In "Bar" display mode, the distance to the IC tag is indicated by a rising or falling bar; the stronger the received signal, the higher the bar. In "Circle," the distance to the IC tag is indicated by an expanding or contracting circle; the stronger the received signal, the larger the circle.
Pairing (Connecting) Your Reader and Device Using QR Codes and NFC
=======================================
If your device supports QR code reading or NFC, you can easily connect to the reader by simply scanning a QR code or NFC tag.
Please refer to the instructions below for setup and connecting to the reader.
◇Connecting Using a QR Code
1) Attach the "QR code" included with your purchase to the reader.
2) Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "Connect via QR/NFC" in the "RFID BOX."
3) Select "Connect via QR Code" and scan the QR code with the camera.
4) The connection is complete when the app screen displays "Connected."
Subsequent connections can be made by following steps 2) through 4).
*The reader's MAC address is pre-set in the QR code.
◇Connecting via NFC
1) Connect the reader and device and check the "MAC address" displayed at the top of the app.
2) Write the MAC address you found on the NFC tag in [text/plain] format, using half-width characters like [00:00:00:00:00:00].
3) Enable NFC and Bluetooth on your device, and select "Connect with QR/NFC" in the "RFID BOX."
4) Select "Connect with NFC" and touch your device to the NFC tag.
