Whenever you’re struggling creatively and you need a suggestion to prompt you back into action, Sokkyo has got you covered. There’s 18 categories of suggestions to choose from, 4 of them are randomly generated, so you’ll get unique ones every time! Sokkyo was also programmed not to show you any repeats until you’ve finished off the whole list of words, or if you close the app!

Sokkyo was designed with responsivity in mind, you can go from opening the app to getting suggestions in mere seconds.

You can have up to 10 buttons on your screen at once, letting you pick the general idea of what you want to see. There’s no fumbling about in menus either, pick your favourites once and Sokkyo will remember them each time you open the app.

All the suggestions are stored on the app, so you don’t need Wi-Fi when you use Sokkyo. No need to sign up, No ads, No stuffing about, just get stuck in!

Works absolutely fine, though I'm a little nitpicky about specific categories. For instance: "Name" is always 2 adjectives (sometimes opposites) with a common name, which I think would be better as nicknames, titles, or something more diverse / prolific, since adjectives is already a category. "Scene" options are very creative but tough on it's own; I'm not complaining, there's just not much middle ground. Aside from these very minor gripes, this app is easy to use and serves its function well.

This is the best improv app out there!! I've used it in my classroom to come up with all kinds of improv categories. I will be sharing with all of my Drama teacher friends. There is only one thing that I think needs improvement. If there could be a setting where it makes the categories kid-friendly, that would make it perfect. There are some suggestions that are inappropriate for kids. I usually just skip over them to avoid, but a setting like that would be helpful.

Nicely designed app with a lot of suggestions and and built-in interval functionality. Drawbacks: 1. Major: Interval is limited to only 130 seconds (!) Why limit it at all?? 2. Major: No "keep screen on" feature. 3. Major: interval timer does not go on while screeb shuts off (!). 4. Minor: No skip / report / avoid suggestion option.
