About this app

"Business Card Sonar" is a dedicated app for a cloud-based business card management service that safely manages business cards on Salesforce.

To use this application, you will need to apply for the "Business Card Sonar" service.
This service can be used not only by companies that already use Salesforce, but also by those who do not have a Salesforce license.

You can search directly from the search box using items other than name and company name as search keys.

You can specify the order in which business cards are displayed in a list.

[Service description]
■Business card management
Business card data is saved on Salesforce and can be shared within the organization, and can be searched, viewed, and edited using a browser or dedicated smartphone app.
In addition, by exporting business card information to business partners and transaction managers, you can save it as a shared information asset within your company.
A dedicated scanning application supports document scanners and flatbed scanners (multifunction devices) for importing business cards on a PC, and it is possible to import business cards with attribute information added in advance. You can also import images using the camera from a dedicated smartphone app.

■Schedule management
It is possible to display a list of activities related to business cards along with business card images and business card information, and check the history of activities with customers.
Activities related to business cards are shared with members and displayed on the calendar. The calendar has been extended from the Salesforce standard to support week views for personal month view and department shared view.

■Immediate data conversion using OCR processing
Business card recognition using OCR processing allows immediate data conversion. You can search for individual business cards and output CSV as a business address book.
Business cards collected at fairs and seminars are instantly converted into data, enabling speedy sales activities such as prompt follow-up by sales representatives and same-day sending of thank you emails.
You can also make the data nearly complete by using the paid option "Correction Service."

■Use of business card data
You can check the converted business card information anytime, anywhere on your PC or smartphone.
Actions necessary for sales activities, such as making a phone call or sending an email, can now be performed with one click from a business card.

■History management
History management function allows you to manage sales actions with customers.
You can efficiently manage information starting from the exchange of business cards, such as when and where you "exchanged business cards," "met people," "telephone calls," and "emails."

■Data sharing
"Who in your company knows what kind of customers?" By sharing business card data, efficient organizational management is possible.

■Business card data registration
Just hold your smartphone over a business card and it will automatically focus and shoot, reducing camera shake when shooting with a tap.
Additionally, AI extracts the outline of the business card and automatically trims it, regardless of the background.
It is possible to convert business cards into text using the cloud's high-speed and highly accurate OCR engine, and register business card data on the spot.　
You can update, edit, and delete cloud business card data directly from the app screen.

■List thumbnail display that is easy to see even when scrolling
Displays thumbnails of job title, name, company name, and business card.
It is possible to display them in the order in which they were most recently viewed.

■Speed ​​search
Business cards registered through OCR processing can be searched immediately.
You can quickly search for the desired business card by company name or name.
There is no need to carry around or flip through multiple business cards.

■Display business card information when receiving a call
When you receive a call, your registered business cards will be displayed instantly. You can check the caller information while receiving a call.

■Make calls and send emails with one-touch operation
You can make a call by tapping the phone number on your business card information.
You can launch your email software or browser from your email address or homepage URL.

■Security
This service does not store business card data within the app.
Even if you lose your iPhone/iPad, you can stop the connection for each device on the management site.
There is no need to worry about your business card data being viewed illegally.

■Paid optional correction service
By using the "Correction Service", you can use the data correction service provided by the operator.
Requests for correction of photographed business cards can be turned on/off in the settings.
