NIC/NICSI has Developed and Implemented “Port Operations Management System (POMS) for SMP” and it is fully operational at Kolkata Dock System (KDS) since 01/10/2010 to till date. Subsequently, Change Management of POMS along with PCS software and Operational Support to the end-users for resolving day-to-day operational problems were undertaken by NIC/ NICSI through separate Technical Support Service project which has been completed on 15/08/2021. Besides the technical support work, few additional requirements of POMS have also been developed and implemented through separate projects from time to time.
