Irish (Gaeilge), sometimes referred to as Irish Gaelic or just Gaelic,[4] is a Goidelic language of the Indo-European languages family, originating in Ireland and historically spoken by the Irish people. Irish is spoken as a first language by a small minority of Irish people, and as a second language by a rather larger group. Irish was the predominant language of the Irish people for most of their recorded history, and they brought it with them to other countries, notably Scotland and the Isle of Man, where it gave rise to Scottish Gaelic and Manx[5][6][7] respectively. It has the oldest vernacular literature in Western Europe.[8]

Ratings and reviews

It's good, however when you use the ABC2 layout it puts in the diacritics incorrectly: instead of cén fáth you get ce´n fa´th. Is there a way to fix this? This problem is present in the Scottish Gaelic plugin too.

I love this keyboard for talking to my Gran in Galway.

I don't understand a word of Irish but her I'll still rate it 5 stars
