About this app

# Since the ET-262 model is a Bluetooth communication method, it can be used without being affected by the smartphone model and OS version.
(Some Android tablets cannot be used because the app cannot be installed.)

# ED-971/ED-982/ED-901/ET-291 models use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology, eliminating the need for a physical connection to the mobile phone, allowing customers to use it the way they want.
Supported for Bluetooth 4.0 or higher, not supported for lower versions
Bluetooth 4.0 support available from Android kernel version 4.3 (Jelly Bean)

[Required access rights]
Nearby device (Bluetooth access): For using a Bluetooth card reader
Location use: Used to search for a Bluetooth card reader
Phone: Used to check mobile phone number when downloading affiliated stores

[Optional access rights]
Camera: Easy payment barcode reading
Microphone: Used for ear jack reader (ED-944)

You can use the app even if you do not allow selective access.
(Certain services are not available.)
