About this app

This app requires an Infrared (IR) Emitter on your device!
It requires you to have a IR receiver, battery, and motors or lights to use.

This app is about creating small sequences, that then get executed using Power Functions. The commands are sent to your IR receiver.

Alternatively, you can control your motors one by one.
Here, the advantage of this app over your existing remote is that you can control all eight of them, and you have speed control.

This app also features voice control, but that's pretty unreliable, and can make repeated, annoying sounds, because the used API isn't meant for continuous voice tracking. Voice commands are disabled when the screen is rotated, the app is restarted, or the start button for it hasn't been pressed yet.
The supported commands are "start" and "stop". Currently, the language for voice recognition is set to German 😄, I might make voice commands configurable in the future.

As an additional feature, motors are not immediately reversed to increase their longevity.

Supported receivers:

If you want other receivers to be supported, write us an email with a file explaining their IR protocol.

Notice: this app is not affiliated with the Lego System A/S. It was developed, because IR is too complicated to use within the "Powered Up" app.
