Send Reduced lets you share reduced resolution photos by text or email with the minimum number of taps.

This is the Pro version. Try the Free version first to ensure compatibility.

When sharing a photo, just choose "Send Reduced". The first time, you'll have to choose the email (or other) app you want to use with it, but if you set the checkmark to make this permanent, next time you won't even have to do that--as soon as you choose "Send Reduced", you'll be in the email (or other) app.

You can also use Send Reduced to attach a reduced photo--when choosing the attachment from your email app, first time choose the Gallery and set a checkmark, and next time you'll automatically get the photo from the gallery and reduce it.

You can adjust the resolution and quality of the reduced photo by running Send Reduced from your launcher.

Send Reduced Pro is tiny, open source (search the web for source code) and has no ads. It strips identifying information (EXIF and filename) from the photos. This is the Pro version which lets you include some EXIF data and preserve filenames.

Highly under-rated. Used both free & pro versions for many years and on 5 phones. Recommended it to others who were equally pleased with its simplicity. There's no UI other than the settings to choose the size to reduce images to and what EXIF info to include. To send a reduced image, just click the share icon in the app, select the Send Reduced app icon, and then the icon of the app to share with. For Gmail attachment, click paperclip icon, select Send Reduced, select photo app, and the photo.

I've used it for years, and now decided to buy the Pro-version, mainly to keep the orientation flag. However, it doesn't handle the portrait mode correctly! All pics are landscape now. Please fix the orientation flag, I'm sure it has been working in the past (even with the Free version!)

Great app! Necessary, convenient and easy to use. (I think a photo resizer should be built into android as photos have become too large to email etc.). It didn't work for a time on my Samsung S9, Android 10. Thanks for the email and reply about a setting. "just start SendReduced from your apps list -- check the "Use content provider" option. Once some testing completes, I hope to make that option be the default." It fixed the problem. Thanks for fixing it!
