About this app

App is now fixed (May 2021). This application allows you to read the Bible quickly without moving your eyes. While this might not be the best way to study the Bible in-depth, it is still a good way to get an overview and flow of a large passage or of a (short) book.

Features:
- ESV Bible search (limited to 500 verses at a one time)
- clean interface while reading to reduce distractions
- progress bar
- adjust reading speed
- adjust reading font size
- full text preview (long press to copy to clipboard)

This application uses the OpenSpritz Android by David Brodsky. This app would not exist if it wasn't for this open source module. Likewise, the source code for this app is online: https://bitbucket.org/ampers_apps/openspritz-bible-android-app

This app had great potential but fails to download Bible versions thus making the app useless and doesn't have a feedback feature to report any issues. Also sadly doesn't have ESV due to one of the dependencies having to take it down.

NEEDS: one should be able to select the book chapter and verse from a three-level menu. if you leave the text you should be able to come back to the place where you left off - a bookmark if you will.
