A virtual kulintang for personal and educational use.
Intended for practice and improve muscle memory of musicians playing the instrument.

The tuning of the instruments are all in traditional tuning.

To explore modern/pop genre and still preserve the traditional tuning, Dr. Kristina Benitez utilized 3 different tuning based on her research with the tradition that she came up with combining these tuning together in a gong orchestra.

I am really impressed by how someone came up with the idea of this. Kuddos to that. But ofc since this is just the 1st version, there are really slight flaws. First is that there somehow seems to be a delay in which you can press each gong head, meaning that we can't play the accent notes that require fast strikes. Second is that it just doesn't feel responsive enough to some of our taps. But all in all, it's great! Thanks for saving our culture!

Great app for virtually practicing on the Kulintang. Good responses, sounds, user-friendly ☺ Suggestion: maybe in the future, include a chromatic set/ choose-your-own-pitches option. would be really helpful for composers and music teachers for classroom use. PADÁYON! ✊😎🇵🇭
