Snake name helps you to identify snakes and similar animals which you encountered in nature or in captivity. It can identify around 800 snake species from around the world and the overall accuracy is 78 %.
Take a photo or upload a photo of a snake you took in the past and wait for the identification! Providing a location of the photo helps to improve the accuracy of the identification (it applies to photos taken in nature). After identifying the snake species, Snake name provides a species card or genus card with basic information about venom, fangs, size or range.
Make sure to keep a safe distance from snakes while photographing them and have fun while learning more about these amazing reptiles!

This app requires an email before you can use it then it surprises you with a requirement of $4 a week! To look at snakes. Come on guys! you can just Google it, can you guess what that costs? I'll give you a hint... It's not $2 nor is it $4 every week! And yes it is $4aud every week! $16/month to look at snakes!

Our app simply requires you to have an account and you can try it with a free trial. We are not forcing you to automatically subscribe. Also, it is not true that we require you to pay 4 USD per week. Our initial subscription price was 2 USD per week and we plan to add different types of subscription.

tried the app, it got the wrong Snake. It did give a less degree of confidence for the correct Snake

Thank you for your review! The app can currently recognize around 800 snake species. That is the highest number on the market. We hope to add more species in the future if the AI advancement allows it.

Very useful app! Helped me identify snake in my garden. It was luckly, not venomous snake. It's very easy to use! Love the videos about the snakes. I ended up watching it.
