The Al-Hikam Book is the main work of Ibn 'Atha'illah, which is very popular, which contains words of wisdom which are of very high value, containing the understanding of monotheism, morals, and ma'rifatullah, Shaykh Ibn' Atha'illah as-Sakandari ( 1309 CE) lived in Egypt during the Mamluk dynasty. He was born in the city of Alexandria (Alexandria), then moved to Cairo. In this city he spent his life teaching the Imam Maliki school of law at various intellectual institutions, including the Al-Azhar Mosque. At the same time he was also widely known in the field of Sufism as a third "master" (shaykh) in the Sufi Syadziliyah order.

Ibn ‘Athaillah, the author of Syarah Kitab Al Hikam, is a productive scholar. No less than 20 works he has ever produced. Covering the fields of Sufism, interpretation, aqeedah, hadith, nahwu, and ushul fiqh. From some of his works the most famous is Syarah Kitab Al-Hikam.

Really really awesome .....

Kitab ngawur!. Tidak di sarankan buat muslim awam. Sebab banyak bimbingan mengarah pada syirik, hulul, wahdatul wujud, berlebih-lebihan dalam mendekatkan diri pada Allah. Sebaiknya Anda pahami dulu semua Kandungan Alquran dan Kaidah Sunnah seperti karya Ibnu Taimiyah. Kalau tidak hati-hati bukannya keluar dari kesesatan malah tersesat sebab ajaran tasawuf sesat. Bukannya pinter malah keblinger. Baca kitab ini di jamin keblinger buat muslim awam. Isi kitab 10 Syarah 8 parah dan sesat!!
