"AndBible: Bible Study" is a powerful, yet easy to use, offline Bible study application for Android. The app does not aim to be simply a Bible reader, but focuses on being an advanced tool to do in-depth personal Bible study.

This application is developed by Bible readers, for Bible readers. It aims at helping you make your Bible study convenient, deep, and fun. The best part about this non-profit community project is that it is open-source, completely free, and contains no advertisements.

Many popular Bible versions are available including KJV, NASB, NET, and others. Popular commentaries like Matthew Henry and John Gill are also available.

The application has many insightful and original features that makes a complex and deep Bible study experience smoother than ever. The most notable features are:

Ratings and reviews

The latest release has made my rating fall. I used to be able to see which book was open and easily change from one to another, but no longer. It is now hidden in several menus on the left. Searching has been changed. I am trying to completely relearn this new version... It's like a completely different app. I may go back to a version that worked for me. It seems like they hired a "new guy" to oversee the app and he wanted to make a name for himself by completely reworking it.

Really appreciate the app. I like the various commentaries that are available as well as the ability to have personalized bookmarks and make personal notes. I also like the ability to backup the bookmarks and notes. There's a lot more, like the ability to have a split screen and simultaneously read from two different sections of Scripture. thank God for this app!!! May it be used for the glory of GOD! Blessings.

Not only does your Bible open as fast as you do your paper copy, but it has the classic options of split screen, search, etc. The off-line speech using TTS engine is also very useful and profitable! Easy to use and works well even on older phones. =] It would be nice to have the option to have the full book name in the table of contents in addition to the abbreviated It would be nice to be able to arrange the book order horizontally rather than vertically, or maybe even custom arrangement.
