About this app

Simple but powerful widget to view and control WiFi directly from your home screen. Switch easily between multiple networks such as 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz. Use a widget to monitor the status of a specific access point. Use a "shortcut" to automate switching to a specific network. Create and aliases/nicknames for each network. Schedule tasks to enable/disable or connect to a network.

Features:
ā€¢ā€ƒTested on Oreo, Pie, and Q; Samsung, Pixel, LG.
ā€¢ā€ƒ7 widgets to choose from.
ā€¢ā€ƒHelp screens for every widget.
ā€¢ā€ƒShortcut for automating switch to a network.
ā€¢ā€ƒCreate custom names/labels for your networks.
ā€¢ā€ƒSchedule tasks to manage your WiFi connections.
ā€¢ā€ƒCustomize your widget with 100's of color combinations.
ā€¢ā€ƒSave and restore your nicknames, custom colors and tasks.
ā€¢ā€ƒHighly-conservative battery consumption.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a widget and shortcut application. Use your launcher to find the widget (or shortcut) and drag it to your home screen. Also, the app cannot be moved to the SD card because the widgets will not work.

Widgets (vs shortcuts) are small apps that run from the home screen when certain events take place. To keep battery drain to a minimum, the widgets in this application only update in the following cases:
ā€¢ā€ƒWhen you unlock the device.
ā€¢ā€ƒWhen you enable/disable WiFi.
ā€¢ā€ƒWhen you connect/disconnect from a network.

LOCATION: Starting with Oreo 8.1, Google also requires your location setting enabled.
Otherwise information about the current WiFi connection and the nearby access points will not work. This is an issue with Android and not the app itself.

Permissions:
ā€¢ā€ƒApproximate location: Need for WiFi scan.
ā€¢ā€ƒLocation enabled (8.1): Need for accurate WiFi information.
ā€¢ā€ƒRead/modify contents of SD card: Load an icon. Save and restore settings.
ā€¢ā€ƒConnect/disconnect WiFi: Connect to your network when shortcut tapped.
ā€¢ā€ƒView WiFi connections: Show you a list of networks to choose.
ā€¢ā€ƒInstall shortcuts: Place your shortcut on the home screen.
ā€¢ā€ƒPrevent sleeping: Run tasks at a specific time.

OMG...... I've been an Android phone user since the trusty and Trendy (at the time) HTC hero! I've ALWAYS needed a WiFi on/off widget and tbh as long as it done the job I was happy 😁...but lately as the android is getting higher they're always hassle....THIS APP/WIDGET IS JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN NEEDING.... For the size options even the 1x1 widgets are brilliant can be used as Just a WiFi on/off switch or you can even click the tiny icon's to get more info! It's free and very functional. AMAZING!

These widgets make my life easier due to really fast 1-tap connection to the wifi network of my choice. I had issues but after good support from the developer I discovered I was using it wrong. I was tapping in the wrong place on the icon. Just tap the LED (dot) to connect. Now I am super satisfied after trying more than a dozen different widgets.

JUST what I needed, and totally FREE! I switch between 2 networks depending on what AV I'm using constantly; was getting to be major pain, but was easy to make 2 toggle shortcuts, major time-saver. Have beta Android 11 on Pixel 2XL and works flawlessly for my needs. SO HAPPY found it; was looking for quite awhile--can't believe more devs not making this. Thank you!
