About this game

This version of Sorterius is the original version as used in the research project for which it was developed.
Sorterius is a game that has been developed through a research project at the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN) and UiT - Norway's Arctic University. The game is designed for people with developmental disabilities, but can be used by everyone. The purpose of the game is to get physical activity through walking. In the game, you use your phone's camera to find virtual trash that appears on the screen as you walk. You can choose between three levels of difficulty, easy (throw in one bin), medium (sort in two bins) and difficult (sort in four bins). When you have collected/sorted 10, 20 or 30 junk objects, you get a star. It is also possible to enter goals for how many steps you have to take to get a star and how many stars you have to have during a week to get a prize (which is adapted to each individual). We wish you the best of luck with your training!
